Evening everyone, hope you are all keeping well. As you might know on *September 12th* , we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of Glencorrib church. This is a huge milestone for the church, for the faith community and the wider community. The schedule for the day will be as follows:
-
*12noon* Mass in Glencorrib church with *Bishop Michael Duignan*
-
*1pm* Unveiling of Commemorative Plaque
-
*1:30pm* Reception in Glencorrib community centre with Ice cream van for small & big kids!!)
-
*7pm* Formal Social Community Gathering at the Lodge at Ashford with food, music & dance – *tickets still available.*
A *call out* is going out for *help reception in the community centre* – buns, tarts cakes – for the tea in the hall. I know there is a lot going on with _Sam back home_ , school starting, end of summer… (you didn’t just ask who is Sam!!!)
If you *can give something at all it would be greatly appreciated* as we mark this important milestone in the community.
Thank you, Fr Vivian
