On Saturday 18th May 2024, The Shrule, Glencorrib & Kilroe Environment Group launched their wildlife film, “Our Local Waters and The Life It Sustains”. The film, showcases the wildlife that live within and around their local watercourses. This short film is a snapshot of an extensive video archive which they collected over their three-year project.
The video archive in its totality will be available on their Instagram page @SGKOURLOCALWATERS.

A spokesperson from the group stated that, “This video archive and film complements our previous publication, The Shrule,Glencorrib& Kilroe Wildlife Survey 2021, available to download fromShrule.ie. We hope this work will serve as an important tool for promoting our amazing local natural heritage and as an educational resource for our local schools.”
